1. Scope and controller
The controller processes guests’ personal data in connection with hotel services in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Czech law. Personal data includes information relating to an identified or identifiable person. No data protection officer has been appointed.
2. Access, duties and confidentiality
The hotel adopts technical, organisational and personnel measures against unauthorised access, alteration, loss or misuse. Data may be accessed only by authorised hotel staff and contracted processors such as accounting, audit, IT, hotel-system and mailing-service providers, subject to appropriate contractual duties.
3. Legal basis and required guest records
Czech law requires accommodation providers to retain selected identification and stay details, including name, date of birth, address, nationality, dates of stay and identity-document details. Records required under the Act on the Residence of Foreign Nationals and the Act on Local Fees are retained for the stay and then for six years. They may be provided to competent public authorities where required by law.
4. Retention and deletion
Guests may request an overview of their personal data. Data is kept in the hotel system and in legally required guest registers stored securely. Data not subject to a legal retention obligation may be deleted on request after the stay; statutory registers are destroyed after the retention period.
5. Security
Only authorised persons may access personal data. The controller takes measures to prevent unauthorised reading, copying, transfer, alteration or deletion and to record how data is handled.
6. Website, forms and cookies
The website may process device and technical information, form submissions and booking data. Technical cookies support essential functions such as language settings; statistical cookies support anonymous traffic analysis; marketing cookies may support personalised advertising; session cookies are deleted when the browser closes. Data may also be received from payment and booking providers.
7. Email communication
If a client provides an email address, commercial messages may be sent where legally permitted. Each message will include an unsubscribe option. Mailing providers may process data outside the EU under the applicable safeguards.
8. CCTV
CCTV is used to protect guests, staff and property. Recordings are not otherwise used or supplied to third parties except competent authorities where required by law. Monitored areas are visibly marked.
9. Your rights
Subject to GDPR conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and the right to withdraw consent. You may lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection.
